Colours truly are healing. New scientific research shows that the colour orange, whether you eat it or look at it, may increase your chances of getting pregnant. Whoop! An intervention that tastes good and looks good with no side effects; got to be worth a try.
Orange foods, such as carrots and mango, obtain their colour from carotenoids like beta-carotene, which may play an important reproductive role. Research indicates that beta-carotene concentrates in the corpus luteum (a developing egg in the ovary). This is where it plays a role in ovulation by assisting with the production of progesterone. Other studies suggest that beta-carotene supplementation supports ovarian activity and progesterone synthesis.
Polish scientists have discovered that uterine tissues contain beta-carotene, while a 2014 study published in the journal Fertility and Sterility suggests that when women boost their beta-carotene intake, their chances of becoming pregnant seem to improve.
So if you are looking for natural ways to boost your fertility it may be beneficial for you to eat orange vegetables and fruits such as:-
carrots, pumpkin, butternut squash, orange peppers, sweet potato
oranges, satsumas, papaya, apricots, mangos
This research also corresponds quite well with the energy chakra colour for this area, which is also orange. So maybe you could go the whole distance and wear orange clothes too!
